China finally worried about drop in stocks: potential bottom

As an ex-DEC alumni of 71 years of age, I've always watched your CNBC appearances and recently, looked at your articles with great interest.
You are a man with great intelligence, foresight, and somehow, feel your 'weighting' in the world should be a lot more than you are currently given credit for. Instead, it seems, folks like Chamath Palihapatiya can 'steal' so much limelight so, so easily inspite of not having 'toiled' in the innards of the IT industry as much as you have.
As it happens, I had the same reaction as you when I saw the Chinese stocks swoon as badly as they did, as I wondered, how could Mr. Xi let so many of the most wealthiest, intelligent, aspirational and 'driven' folks of Chinese cities down so easily by quite literally taking away their rice bowls (and so much more).
The only difference between you and me in this regard is that I was already 'hook, line and sinker' in the most hurt Chinese stocks, having bought CEFs (TDF, CHN) which are likely to suffer terrible pain, when they declare dividend income in the next few months, which helps me put food on the table, as a retiree.
Best wishes to you, and yes, I too feel Mr. Ellison's 'race to the finish line' is just getting started, after having 'stalled' for so many years, with his America's Cup and other distractions.
